5 Minutes Just For You
No "New Year, New You" Here
You are enough.
Do me a favor, would you? Please resist the urge to "do more, be more" and live your "best life yet" in 2025. Put down your social media and just listen.
π What does your heart want?
π What does your body need?
π§ What are you curious about?
Working with professional women, and in my own experience, I find that sometimes we can become performative in developing our OWN goals, dreams, and vision. We are so programmed by what is in the societal air around us that even here, even in this sacred space of our own desire, we respond as "expected".
Please don't do that this year.
Do take time to listen to yourself. Maybe bounce what you're thinking off of a trusted friend or partner. Don't be afraid to write or say that "crazy" thing.
Over the last few weeks, I shared the CARE methodology and associated AI prompts to get you thinking. If you missed any of those, you can find them below. (Psst...AI is actually a good thought partner for this because it has ZERO agenda!)
Here are the links to the CARE Questions and Prompts:

If the whole reflection and action planning process feels like too much, I've got you.
Option 1: Happies and Crappies List
Inspired by this Everything Happens podcast from Kelly Corrigan and Kate Bowler. It's pretty straightforward...what made you feel happy, what made you feel crappy.
Option 2: Someday List
I'm doing this one for 2025! I heard about it on the Lazy Genius podcast with Kendra Adachi and it really hit home. Instead of developing a "do this by this date" set of goals or a bucket list, build a Someday list. I've gotten more rebellious against anything that boxes me in (even if I'm the one doing the boxing), so this feels better to me at this time. I'm guessing more of these will come to pass than I realize! Stay tuned!
May 2025 be the year that YOU create. You've got this!
