Not On My Watch
This feels like an extraordinarily long month for so many people I'm talking to. Maybe it's the freezing temps everywhere. Maybe it's the non-stop news cycle. Maybe it's a 2024 hangover. Who knows?!?
So, I sat myself down for a talk...with myself.
I have to admit, it has been harder than usual this year to pull myself forward.
Last week, I was sharing with a client about the CARE methodology (remember all those emails you got from me in December?!) and it hit me... I needed to take my own advice.
(It happens more often than you think when you're a coach...)
I realized I had way too many things I was thinking about, too many I was fired up about, and only a few where I could actually make a difference. And, I realized I was trying to do it all myself instead of doing it in community, which I prefer.
So, I got clear about something I'm passionate about (developing women leaders + AI).
I aligned my resources (aka asked a friend to work with me).
Paused to reflect if this is a good use of my energy (obviously, it is).
And, built a plan to engage with you on this topic, beginning NOW.
Get ready...
At the end of last year, I read a report that said that women are 25% less likely to adopt AI tools than men. 25% less!
It also said that in the U.S. last year only 33% of women used AI, compared to 50% of men. Only 33%!
Ladies, if we don't embrace the advantages of AI, we will miss opportunities, have less career mobility, and make our lives harder overall.
NOT. ON. MY. WATCH!
Listen, I get it. AI can be intimidating. It's "one more thing". It feels too tech-y.
AI can also save you time, improve your communication, and make things easier.
Lucky for us, one of my business besties, Kendra Ramirez, happens to be an AI guru with a specialty in simplifying AI and making it fun. So, I asked her to jump in with me to create a space where we can show you how we use it -- and be a place where no question is dumb. No tech experience required!
I want 2025 to be the year where things are EASIER for you, where you learn something fun, and where you feel supported to try new things.
Sending you the energy you need to make it to the end of this loooong month!
You've got this!
